課程大綱 課程教育目標
這門課程主要在介紹第二語言習得研究的源起、流派、主要理論發展、重要有關研究及未來趨勢。課程內容將包括與第二語言習得有關的諸多課題,諸如第一語言與第二語言習得的異同,年齡、跨語言影響、語言環境、認知、中介語的發展、學習動機、學習風格、社會文化因素等。

《 課程簡介 -- English 》
This course will examine the evolution and development of the prevailing theories and future trends for Second Language Acquisition (“SLA”). Major topics will include a theoretical understanding of SLA and of its underlying elements, such as age, cross-linguistic influences, linguistic environment, cognition, development of learner language, foreign language aptitude, motivation, individual differences, and socio-cultural factors. In addition, we will review and analyze experimental and hypothesis-testing studies with reference to the theoretical and structural framework of SLA.
完成本課程後,學生應具備以下知識與能力:
(1)對第二語言習得的基礎理論有全面的認識;
(2)了解第二語言習得與第一語言習得及雙語習得的共同性與差異性;
(3)閱讀第二語言習得相關的書籍及研究時,能了解文章中所談的理念、派別及專有名詞的定義與所指。

Course Objectives:
Upon the completion of this course, students should have the following knowledge and skills:
(1) A comprehensive view of the foundational theories of SLA;
(2) An understanding of the similarities and the differences between the acquisition of a Second Language, Foreign Language, and Bilingualism; and
(3) An understanding of, and ability to apply, the concepts, theories, terms, field test methodologies, and test results, as analyzed and discussed in scholarly books, journal articles and studies on, or related to SLA.
